Qatar Strongly Condemns Attack on Libyan Foreign Ministry

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the vicious terrorist attack that targeted the headquarters of the Libyan Foreign Ministry in Tripoli today.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that systematic attempts to undermine state institutions in Libya are behind such attacks and repeated aggressions in its varied forms and manifestations.

The statement considered that the attack's coincidence with the anniversary of independence emphasizes that those who are behind these attacks attach no value to the national dimension.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' statement stressed that such an attack is a blatant challenge to the resolutions of international legitimacy and undermines the efforts of the United Nations in this regard, calling on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to condemn such acts of terrorism and stop those behind them.

The statement expressed Qatar's deep regret and condolences to the families of the victims, wishing them speedy recovery.
