The State of Qatar is following with great concern the current developments in the Republic of Niger and calls on all parties to avoid escalation, give priority to the voice of wisdom, and pursue dialogue to overcome the crisis in the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses the keenness of the State of Qatar to establish security and stability in Niger. It also expresses its hope for the preservation of constitutional institutions and the rule of law in order to realize the aspirations of the people of Niger for development and prosperity.
