Qatar Condemns Terrorist Attack on Mosques in New Zealand

The State of Qatar has condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist and brutal attack on mosques in New Zealand that has killed dozens of people.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement stressed the total refusal of the State of Qatar to target places of worship and terrorize peaceful people.

The Ministry also expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families and to the Government and the people of New Zealand and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.
