The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the bombings in the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu, causing deaths and injuries.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, the government and the people of Nepal, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
