The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation of the car bombing near the town of Qayyarah in northern Iraq, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, the government and the people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
