The State of Qatar has voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion which took place in central Mali and killed a number of soldiers.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Mali .
