The State of Qatar voiced strong condemnation of the two armed attacks in Beni region in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, which left civilians killed and injured.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, and the government and people of Democratic Republic of the Congo, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
