The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack that targeted a market in the Iraqi city of Mosul, causing deaths and injuries.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, the government and the people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
