The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack that targeted a military base in Ghazni district, central Afghanistan, killing a number of soldiers.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed Qatars condolences to the victims' families, the government and people of Afghanistan.
