The State of Qatar voiced strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a church in eastern Burkina Faso killing 14 people including children.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons, and affirmed Qatar's total rejection of targeting places of worship and intimidating the safe civilians.

The Ministry expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Burkina Faso.
