The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attacks on a church in northern Burkina Faso, causing deaths.

In a statement Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement stressed Qatar's total refusal of targeting places of worship and terrorizing peaceful people.

The statement expressed Qatar's condolences to the victims' families, the government and people of Burkina Faso.
