The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack on the Lake Chad region, which resulted in civilian deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Chad, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
