The State of Qatar expressed on Thursday its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a Pakistani army security checkpoint in the northwest of the country and resulted in the killing of two soldiers and the injury of another.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Pakistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
