The State of Qatar condemned the armed attack on buses carrying soldiers in north-eastern Nigeria, which resulted in dozens of deaths and several injuries.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and the government and people of Nigeria, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
