The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted security checkpoints in northern Afghanistan, which resulted in deaths of the security forces.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, and to the government and people of Afghanistan.
