The Afghan government and Taliban movement held on Wednesday their second technical meeting with the participation of the State of Qatar, the United States of America, and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today that the two sides have agreed to start releasing the prisoners by both sides as of March 31.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that this progress is an important and positive step in the right direction.
