The State of Qatar welcomed Sunday the announced agreement between the Libyan cities of Misrata and Tawergha that which aims to overcome the differences of the past and achieve social peace.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed hope, in a statement released today, that the agreement can be the beginning of reaching stability and order between people of both cities. The statement also expressed hope that it will be the beginning of enforcing the law and reverting confidence in the available as the Libyan nation strives for more unity.

The State of Qatar called on all parties involved and all relevant institutions to remain positive and not give any value to any attempts that could undermine the agreement. The State of Qatar also called on the parties involved to look to a common future and to place the rights of future generations as their goal as they implement the agreement.
