Today marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the State of Qatar and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on May 24, 1973.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the keenness of the State of Qatar to strengthen the distinguished relations between the two countries, and raise these relations to broader horizons through the development of cooperation in various fields, in a way that achieves the aspirations of the two friendly peoples.

On this anniversary, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlights that the relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Venezuela are based on the pillars of mutual respect and common interests. At the same time, the Ministry draws attention to the interest of the two countries in upholding the values of dialogue, promoting opportunities for peace, and defending just causes in international forums.
