The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a local police patrol south of the city of Mosul, Iraq, wounding two policemen.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever motives and causes.

In the statement, the State of Qatar wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
