The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that occurred while the French Consul was attending an event in Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The attack resulted in two injuries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reiterated in a statement today, the State of Qatar's firm stance of rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed Qatar's wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.
