The State of Qatar has condemned in the strongest terms the storming of dozens of Israeli settlers into the courtyards of Al Aqsa Mosque and the Israeli occupation forces attacking worshipers on the first day of Eid Al Adha, considering it a provocation to the feelings of millions of Muslims around the world.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need for the international community to act urgently to stop the repeated Israeli attacks against the brotherly Palestinian people and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The statement reiterated Qatar's firm and permanent stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and the steadfastness of the brotherly Palestinian people to ensure the establishment of their independent State on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capita.
