The State of Qatar has voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the shooting incident which targeted a church in the US State of Texas, killing two people and injuring one.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement stressed the State of Qatar's total rejection of targeting places of worship and intimidating the safe.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and to the government and people of the United States, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
