The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the shooting incident that took place in the city of Utrecht in the Netherlands, and which resulted in deaths and injuries.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, whatever the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, the Government and the people of the Netherlands, wishing the injuries speed recovery.
