The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the shooting incident that took place in the US city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, causing deaths and injuries.

In a statement issued Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed Qatar's full solidarity with the US government in all measures taken to maintain security and stability

The statement also expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, the government and the people of United States, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
