The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion which took place in front of a football stadium in central Somalia, leaving deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Somalia, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
