The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion which targeted a popular coffee shop in Jowhar city in southern Somalia, killing one person and injuring others.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the family of the victim, and to the government and people of Somalia, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
