The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the explosion which took place in Logar Province in central Afghanistan, killing two people and injuring others.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and the government and people of Afghanistan, and wishes of speedy recovery to the injured.
