The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that occurred in Diyala governorate in northeastern Iraq, killing one person and injuring two others.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and causes.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the family of the victim as well as the government and people of Iraq, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
