The State of Qatar strongly condemned an explosion that targeted security sites in northwestern Afghanistan and led to deaths and injuries among security personnel.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed, in a statement today, the State of Qatar's firm position of rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, the government, and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
