The State of Qatar voiced strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing which took place in Afghanistan's southern province of Helmand and resulted in killing a number of security forces.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Afghanistan.
