The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of a bombing in the Somali capital, Mogadishu that resulted in dozens of deaths and several injuries.

In a statement Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position of rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and the government and people of Somalia, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
