The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the bombing in Mazar-i-Sharif city, northern Afghanistan, causing death and injuries .

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the victim's family, the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
