The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack on two military vehicles southwest of the city of Ramadi in Iraq, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes. The Ministry affirmed Qatar's full solidarity with the Iraqi government in all measures taken to maintain security and stability.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of victims as well as the government and people of Iraq, wishing the wounded speedy recovery.
