The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion targeting a patrol of the Tunisian National Guard officers in Jendouba governorate, which left a number of people killed.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes. The Ministry affirmed Qatar's full solidarity with the Tunisian government in all measures taken to maintain security and stability.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of victims as well as the government and people of Tunisia.
