The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the explosion that targeted a tourist bus in Egypt's Giza Governorate and left a number of people killed and injured.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
