The State of Qatar strongly condemned the attack that targeted a military post in Afghanistan's northern Kunduz province, killing several soldiers and injuring others.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
