The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted an election rally in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan and left one person dead and others injured.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance in rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes, reaffirming full solidarity with the Pakistani government in all the measures it takes to preserve security and stability.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the family of the victim as well as the government and people of Pakistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
