The State of Qatar has strongly condemned and denounced the attack that took place in the city of Hanau in western Germany, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, whatever the motives and causes.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the victims' families and to the government and people of Germany, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
