Qatar Strongly Condemns Assassination of Former Japanese Prime Minister

The State of Qatar condemns in the strongest terms the assassination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who was shot while delivering a speech in the western city of Nara, considering it a heinous crime.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates  the position of the State of Qatar rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The State of Qatar recalls with pride and appreciation the positions of the deceased, who was a loyal friend and supporter of the close relations between the two countries, expressing its condolences to the friendly government and people of Japan, and the family of the deceased.
