The State of Qatar strongly condemned and denounced the assassination attempt targeting HE Prime Minister of the Republic of the Sudan Dr. Abdalla Hamdok.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered this attempt as a rejected criminal act, stressing the need to prosecute those involved in it and bring them to justice.

The statement also affirmed the State of Qatar's firm support for the unity, stability and sovereignty of Sudan and the aspirations of its brotherly people.
