The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion in Jalalabad, east of Afghanistan, which left a number of people killed and wounded.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of victims as well as the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
