The State of Qatar has strongly condemned two attacks that targeted a hospital in the Afghan capital, Kabul, and the funeral of the police chief in the east of the country, causing deaths and injuries, including children.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
