The State of Qatar has strongly condemned an attack in Salah Al-Din Governorate and a bombing in eastern Diyala, Iraq, killing a security commander and a soldier and injuring two other soldiers.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the two victims' families, the government and people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
