The State of Qatar has voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack on police headquarters in Charbolak district and the explosion at a market in Alasay province in Afghanistan, which killed police officers and wounded a number of civilians, including six women.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, and the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
