The State of Qatar condemned the shooting incident in the U.S. city of New Orleans, which resulted in the injury of 11 people.

In a statement on Sunday, the Foreign Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance towards rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of the motives and causes.

The statement expressed Qatar's wishes for the injured of a speedy recovery.
