The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the landmine explosions in the two Daykundi and Faryab provinces in Afghanistan, causing deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of their motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of victims, and government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
