The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the killing of four hostages kidnapped by an armed group since last July in northeast Nigeria.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims.
