The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing that targeted a military base in northern Mali, injuring a number of members of the United Nations peacekeeping force.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The ministry expressed the State of Qatar's wishes of a speedy recovery for the wounded.
