The State of Qatar has expressed its strong denouncement and condemnation of the series of explosions that targeted the center of Iraq's Kirkuk city and the attack on a security checkpoint in Dialy, which left a number of people including a security officer dead in addition to others injured.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed in a statement today the State of Qatar's firm position in rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of its motives.

The statement also expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, the government and people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
