The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion of an explosive device in central Afghanistan, killing three US soldiers from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and wounding three others.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on the rejection of violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, the government and the people of the USA, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
